The below linked story indicates that University of Syracuse recruit Tyler Roberson may not be qualified by the NCAA to play this season.

Tyler is a 6 ft 8 inch power forward who hails from Roselle NJ. Rivals ranked him the #39 player in the high school class of 2013.

The NCAA definitely seems to put some schools on the fast track to clearing players i.e. Cuse, Kentucky, UCLA, etc. and other schools on the pay no mind track i.e. SJU.

It does seem that way, however, the NCAA was dragging their asses with regard to clearing Shabazz Muhammad, forcing UCLA to hire an attorney and file a protest. I believe the attorney for Shabazz was the same one who represented Orlando Sanchez.
