A group at Georgetown received a cease and desist letter from the Syracuse University Office of Athletic Compliance for a tee shirt that says "Real Criminals Wear Orange"

Perhaps the University of Syracuse should be more offended by the crimes and indiscretions by its "student athletes" reported in the below link than by what a T-Shirt says.

2011: Former Syracuse University basketball player Josh Wright was arrested in a prostitution sting in Utica. Wright was charged with third-degree patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor, and loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution, a violation. Wright left Syracuse in December, 2007, in the middle of his senior season, for personal and academic reasons.

2008: Former player Carmelo Anthony arrested and convicted of DUI. Anthony refused to take a breathalyzer, but the arresting officer classified the level of impairment as "extreme".

WHAT???

This could tarnish the Syracuse brand.

Lenn Robbins should be on this story really soon.

All in all, pretty clever humor, linking Syracuse orange, behavior of team, and prison jumpsuits. Lots of Georgetown lawyers make a lot of money defending these types.

Didn't click the link so they might have mentioned this one as well, but Wright also got busted for robbing a house or something like that before going to Syracuse.

I'm sure Alan Hirsch is ready to be quoted again

Went on www.casualhoya.com looking for that t-shirt, couldn't find it, but found a very funny article, 'Duties of Syracuse Office of Compliance'. Sorry I don't know how to transfer it here. Could someone here bring it over? Thanks.

If you're keeping score, SI reported two Syracuse football players arrested for burglary yesterday.
