Still excited about season

Obviously its a bump in the road having the 3 players ruled ineligible for the fall semester, but this is still the most excited ive been in a long time looking forward to a season to begin. We still get to see how the other 6 recruits (most being top recruits) do. Theyre getting alot more playing time now, so it will definitely help them in the long run. Also, if theres a chance that we get 1 or 2 players back and eligible for December then even better.

I have no idea how any real fan of this team can start complaining and putting down the team and staff, unless they happened to be in a coma the last 20 years.

While it hurts losing these players for the fall, this is far from a lost season and I for one am definitely looking forward to it.

It will certianly be interesting to see how this all gels, and you figure by pure chance, some of these guys are going to be keepers.

There is always the possibility for greatness, but I think the best thing about this year, is that it's only one year away from next year, when hopefully, we will start the run to consistant greatness.

Takes a lot of wind out of the sails.

No doubt about that Tom. But sh*t happens.

I can't wait to see what these kids can do. Here are my starters :

PG - Phill Greene
SG - Nuri Lindsey
C - GGA
PF - Sir Dom
SF - Moe Harkless

- Harrison first off the bench, follwed by Stith.... would be nice to get Garrett back for the B.E.

- one thing this team won't be is dull. :eek:hmy: :woohoo:  :S   :p

^I'd be shocked if Harrison wasn't a starter.

And yeah, I'm still looking forward to these guys playing.

Lavins already showed he's not afraid to put his scoring guard on the ball and has been successful doing it.
I expect to see the backcourt consisting of both Lindsey and Harrison and them playing more of a 4 out set with eith harkless or pointer seeing sum love at the high post , short corner or elbow. Only because they may not be as successful screening as your traditional 4 man. And while all that's going on GIft will be a man amongst boys in the paint. Look for Phil Greene to come in for defensive reasons and Malik stith as your change of pace traditional point off the bench. Wouldn't be surprised to see the kid White to get a lot of love in the rotation either, kid was a scorer in high school and at 6'4 could help out on the glass a tad.

PG- Lindsey
Sg-Harrison
Sf- pointer
Pf- harkless
Pf-Gift

Pretty curious what the defensive scheme will be to make up for size and stay out of Foul trouble
