The old 3 legged stool that sort of held up the original Big East in the 80's.

I was watching CBB last night and watched Clemson smack Syracuse around. Cuse is on the verge of missing both NIT and NCAA in consecutive years, something they have not done in the Boeheim era.

We all know about St. John's and Georgetown.

All 3 schools are completely irrelevant right now. Hard to believe for those like me who grew up in the 80's on these matchups.

That is sad.

The paradigm has shifted massively form the 1980s and then inception of the Big East, and some of these schools have not kept up with the times, and some of the coaches (Anderson and Boeheim) have not either.
