Not sure if anyone has noticed but over the last 10 to 12 years we have really struggled to win our "in season tournaments" at MSG. I know some of these losses occurred during the "rebuilding" years of Norm Roberts but the history is still problematic.

2003 - lost to Manhattan & UNC in Holiday Festival
2004 - lost to Marquette in Coaches vs Cancer
2007 - lost to Maryland & Texas in the Coaches vs Cancer
2010 - lost to Cornell in the Holiday Festival Finals
2012 - lost to Arizona & Texas A&M (I forget what Tournament that was).

Hopefully we can start turning this trend around starting next week vs Minnesota, if not we may need to bring back the Lapchick Tournament :)

It's clearly because most of these aren't part of the season ticket package and our rabid fan base isnt there like normally.

Its not only "in season tournaments" - we have also been embarrassed on numerous occassions in home games at MSG and the Big East Tournament as well.

Please dont sell the program short.

I was going to mention the Big East Tournament but those problems go back to the 1987 season, LOL
