St Johns Loughlin Society Reception 12/8

On a lighter note it was great to see Tommy and his wife at the event tonight and we met a couple of other very nice Alum's. Although when I broke the news about Nuri he almost broke the table. LOL
Anyway a couple of things about the event. They put on a nice short event ( food wasn't good this year though ).
A couple of things to note though if I heard them right that Fr Harrington mentioned. I think starting next year any kid attending a catholic high school who attends St Johns will automatically get a 10-20k scholarship to SJU over the 4 years.
Also there is going to be some sort of automatic financial aid for kids from the 5 boroughs and Nassau. I think they are naming that one after Gov Carey.
