Does anyone know why St. John's doesn't have an advertisement up at a NYC baseball stadium? It seems like something that other schools are doing these days (Syracuse at Yankee Stadium, NYU at MCU Park for example, see the pics below). You would think with St. John's being in the same location as Citi Field (and the fact that we played the first ever game there) that the school would look into it. Maybe it's money, but it would be nice exposure.

Believe I read somewhere once, that the Syracuse sign at Yankee Stadium is not costing that school a single cent. Brandon Steiner, I believe, is footing the bill for it, FWIW.

Come basketball season, ads to buy tickets for St. John's games are usually seen on the back of some Queens-line city buses. That's a good advertising gimmick, IMO.
 
The Mets squeeze in so many ads in the stadium that it might not even get noticed.

I've seen some girls in Time Square on the news that could wear the red and white in a manner to get some attention. :evil:
