 This is awesome! I hope they continue to broadcast more games...I have always said it's a shame because we have a great baseball team and never get to see it since college baseball is almost never broadcasted. First place in the Big East right now...very impressive.
 
 Not only first place, but I think with yesterday's win they clinched the regular season Big East Title.
 
 Yes they have to win this game or they finish 2nd which would be terrible. This team SHOULD win the Big East. They have been great and kind of scuffled down the stretch. Tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 10th now...so many wasted opportunities.
 
 They lost...wow that was embarrassing. SJ had a chance to score for like the past 3 innings and haven't done it. Our pitching is awful. Well, there goes the season. Now all we can hope for is an at large bid.

Need to win the tournament.
 
 They were going to have to win the BE tourney to get in regardless of an outright regular season title rather than a co-share with Louisville.

Louisville is the only lock from the Big East as an at-large should someone else win the conference tourney.
 
 Historically the Big East has never been a one team conference so hopefully that continues even if they don't win it all. Getting eliminated early however I think will seal their fate. 
 
 They have too many bad losses and not enough great wins. If they were 36-18 with switching the right number of three losses to wins, I'd say they have a chance.

But they are 59th in the RPI and a third of their wins are against 200th-ranked teams or lower. 16 of their 21 losses are to teams ranked lower than them.
