Fullhouse at the Edison Ballroom last evening. Another fantastic St. John's event !!!

We were blessed with an appearance by Coach Kaiser, who (I'm sure all would agree) IS The SAINT in St. John's.

Rick Pocello was arguably the best speaker we had in the history of the banquet.

No one is a better emcee than C.J. Nitkowski, who will be broadcating Texas Ranger games this season on Fox Southwest.

Porcello mentioned that his maternal grandfather played for The 1954 Cleveland Indians, who played the N.Y. Giants in the World Series.

Rick Cerone, who was Coach Blankmeyer's teammate at Seton Hall was "in the house," as was Willie Randolph and Rick Peterson.

SJU legend and loyal alumnus John Franco attended, which he typically does every year.

The Alumni Achievement Award was presented to Anthony Varvaro, a 6 year MLB veteran, who is now a member of The Port Authority Police Department.

Our baseball team is predicted to finish first in the Big East in the pre-season polls.

Had the great pleasure of attending last night and being able to spend time with JerseyShoreJohnny. It was a great event & I urge anyone who has in interest in supporting SJU & SJU Athletics, to consider looking into attending next year. I still think that one day we will have a "Redmen.com" table at one of these events. :p
