The most recent issue of St John’s Magazine highlights a number of new Events, Building Projects including a new Health Sciences Building . This issue also has a nice article about Jayson Williams and his life struggles . Of note , is the mention by Jayson of his relationship with Coach Carnesecca . Also mentioned is Jayson acknowledging the help he received from Chris Mullin and others , as he pursued his Path to a Sober and settled Life . While it has little to do with BB , it does have much to offer in the ways Jayson has changed his life . It’s worth a read .

Amen, a sober life for those that suffer from the addiction means more than anything, a life is worth saving. (I know personally having someone I love suffer from A addiction and thankfully come out the other end, although it looked perilous for 10 years).

Nice to see that Alums who get this Magazine can keep up with Events , etc happening at the School. All the stories were informative . Lots of good things going on , in addition to BB . The new Nursing Program requires rigorous HS grades and above average SAT scores . It will attract high Academic achievers . Admission will be selective . Which will be good for the overall School Rankings . Fr Shanley is doing a good job on that front as well as , Fund Raising .
