i can't project as others have that we would have beaten Creighton. The second halves of basketball games are where games are won. We played well in the first half, and certainly did not bear a resemblance to a 5-13 conference team. The season ended well enough to give us hope for the future, and was actually the only team over the past 15 years or so that finished the season playing its best ball.

I agree - we definitely were playing our best ball and it really was refreshing to see that as the season drew to it's close. I give a tremendous amount of credit to the determination of the team and the coaching staff.
That said - we had Creighton's number. I really wanted to see that second half. We were going to win that game. What would have happened after that? Who knows. But I think even Creighton knew we had their number and they were in trouble. B)
