Sports betting

For those that are into sports betting, New York appears to be very close to this now and this month we should get more answers. Be much more convenient than driving to new jersey although without traffic takes me 55 minutes to get to the fanduel sportsbook at meadowlands.

Here are a couple links from the other day on the issue. Mobile betting is the key.

That stinks But I have a feeling your frustrations were taken out on a few pale ales!!!
A friend of mine had his daughter eeny meeny miny mo and picked the belmont stakes winner...go figure

I personally haven't followed horse racing closely since the Sunday Silence vs Easy Goer rivalry in which Sunday Silence made me some decent money back then.

But I will say this, a beautiful sunny day at the racetrack is nice. Especially if you can make it to Saratoga.

Feel your pain MJM. Only thing that kept me from losing Saturday (as I did on Derby & Preakness) was I knew we were going to be at dinner celebrating my son's graduation and I wouldn't be able to watch the race so didn't bet it. I can safely say I would not have bet Sir Winston so saved myself some money.

From the article. Clear as day what’s needed in New York

More than four out of every five bets placed in the Garden State occur online, giving easy access to both New Jersey and New York residents. Bettors can sign up for and fund accounts remotely, a major advantage Nevada regulators refuse to consider under pressure from local casinos.

Mobile app technology in New Jersey sports betting also far outpaces what is available in Nevada. User-friendly apps like FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook create a streamlined experience Nevada apps struggle to match with outdated technology.
