I What SJU uniform number will Larrier want? :)

Will Sima qualify?

Will staff seriously pursue "Big Papa" in Greece, perhaps to protect flank re Sima?

Will Mussini decide on college ball v Italy contract. (Like our chances if he picks college)

What about ships for 2016? Best class in a looooong time. I see Cal is already trying to lock kids up in that class! We need ships for all that talent

If Sima does qualify and/or we get Papa, does either have an impact on Christian Jones? What does the new staff think of him?

We should have plenty of open scholarships for the 2016 class
At the very least Obekpa, Durrand Johnson, Felix, and M'Vouika leaving.
Plus we still have 2 open scholarships now.
And that doesn't include Rysheed leaving or Christian Jones transferring or something like that.

I am encouraged by the prospect of landing Larrier. That would be an excellent start to the 2016 class.

Good points but with all of our understandable excitement about recruiting, I paused and placed myself in Alumni Hall for a November game.

I try not to rush life along, but how nice will that be glancing at Chris and staff on the bench, paving the sidelines where Joe Lapchik and Louie once worked...watching Louie beam with fatherly pride...a new generation of SJU excellence...

Checking out the new roster - and my not being an insider or that well connected as many of you are - daydreaming about which player is which, which number is whom...marveling at the moves...

I think it will bring me back to 1980s and Chris Mullin, Bill Wenmington Ron Stewart (did I get that class right?)
Such positive anticipation...

Recruiting is great but sitting at those first games...priceless.

Felix has a very good chance of being granted another year of eligibility (for his sophomore season in which he played on game and it was early in the season). Of course that doesn't mean he uses that year here as he can go elsewhere if he graduates next year.

I was wondering the same thing. I think there were originally some questions regarding his Prep School awhile back but I haven't heard anything recently about it or anything at all about Sima.
 
If we have learned anything from the Lavin Error, I mean Era, it's don't count your basketball players until they hatch.

I fully expect that the current staff will have a better reliability record than the last one, but nobody's perfect. Except some of our posters, of course.
