Just some guys that I think we should be all over. First off the guys that we are after now that are a MUST ! Obekpa is an absolute must. Imagine if we get Gathers on board ( LSU has an awful program ) with Gods gift, and Obekpa. That would be strong. Obviously add Amir, and like I stated before, we go on the offensive and grab Kentucky's Stacey Poole ( 6-4 G ) and Reeves Nelson ( 6-8 F ) who are proven scorers and players. Also, we should be after Jaren Sina, another local kid who de-committed and was interested in the Johnnies once before. He can score and handle and point. Lastly, I love the JUCO route....Orlando Sanchez of Monroe ( 6-8 stud ), Waverly Austin ( 6-11 ) Center from Palm Beach, and my favorite JUCO school ( you'll know why )...Tallahasse with Materrace Brock ( 6-4 ) scorer. Some nice targets.....Hey what ever happened to St Rays Center Joey Dela Rosa ? He was a 6-11 230 lbs big body we could use. Just some thoughts...PS- LOVE the way Gift plays, man he is special. Pointer- GREAT defender, Nuri- very smooth, Moe- exactly what we expected, love him. D'Angelo- wait till he goes on fire, look out!! I really like this team a lot, they just are thin. My figers are crossed. Feel better coach, and keep up the good work. Go Johnnies, Ill be there vs Zona baby.

Wouldn't touch Poole based on him being a 2/3 tweener and us having bodies there. Plus I've had enough of the Polee, Pelle, Poole's of the world ;)

Nelson isn't leaving UCLA and if he does its to the next level not another college.

Sina is 2013 but agree he should be a focus.

Waverly Austin committed to USF I thought.

I saw Monroe play Gift last year and Sanchez didnt stand out. Looking back here was his line that day. Figuring he was matched up against Gift probably.

4pts
2-9 from the field (0-2 from 3)
10 boards
2 assists
2 steals

No clue what happened to De La Rosa. Was supposed to go to FIU but then I guess he came to his senses and got away from the not so midas touch of Zeke.

I've mentioned this name before on JJ, but what about Michael Chandler? Posters have mentioned we don't want to touch him with a 10ft pole because of attitude issues, but he was a  top 50 Center for the class of 2011 in every scouting list.

I know he committed and then didn't qualify at USF, but he's 6'10 and athletic. I think the staff should at least be sniffing around. ESPN lists the schools still interested in him as SJU, UCONN, Indiana, Kentucky, and Oregon.
He's gotta be pretty good to be demanding that kind've attention.

I don't think we need to be looking at guys who couldn't qualify last year to an extent. We have enough question marks and I don't want to go thru another summer wondering when someone will show up.

Chandler never quailified this year and also I think is associated with the same guy who is mixed up in the Boatright mess. In addition to the attitude stuff its best left alone I think.

How about the Juco route... #1 Monroe college in our backyard.

The Monroe College Mustangs can claim they are number one.

In an early season clash between the top two teams in NJCAA Division I men's basketball, second-ranked Monroe College toppled number one-ranked College of Southern Idaho 71-54 in the first annual Mustang Invitational on November 5. With the win, the Mustangs move to 2-0 on the season and will likely claim the number one spot in the next NJCAA Poll. Monroe defeated Genesee CC 77-39 in their opening game of the Invitational.

They smoked Erie and Gift last year when I went. Someone mentioned Orlando Sanchez already. I can definitely make it to a game or two depending on where they play since they alternate gyms.

In addition to Sanchez this kid looks like their new freshman recruit-
