SNY Tonight at 11PM / The Brothers Champagnie

Very entertaining interview with the Brothers Champagnie...Justin's personality would be better suited playing in NY with Julian at St. Johns!!!

Brotherly love...

though I can see how they said it was a good move for their personal development to go separate ways allowing Julian to grow given his more reserved nature.

Funny, I was just thinking yesterday that it would be nice to make a trip up to NYC sometime in December to see our daughters and some friends and if possible get to a game at the Garden.  Will have to keep an eye on this one.

any oldtimers remember the twins, Dick and Tom Van Arsdale?

Long and good careers in the NBA.

That's if both return to school.  Justin has been popping up on a lot of draft boards, I've seen him as high as #31 on one draft site. He flirted with the thought of testing the waters last year, it's almost guarnteed he'll at least test them this year, and have to make a decision, He'd be at least a late 2nd rounder if he decides to go. And with the year Julian has had, although he hasn't appeared on any draft boards yet, it's very likely he'll test the draft waters and put his name in and get an evaluation as well, and when they do that you never know, because they start getting a lot of people in their ear.

Great idea for the interview and well done. These are very nice with very different personalities. It was a really enjoyable interview. Their parents should be very proud of both of them. Certainly understand why it's best to travel their own individual paths.

Hence the usage of the word 'could' /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

St John's forward Julian Champagnie loves the ides of facing twin brother Justin Champagnie of Pittsburgh next year. Will be odd, though, since they've never played against each other before. "We'll probably be laughing the entire game".

Another piece on the twins here with John Fanta.  All I can say is after watching this, is the best thing that ever happened to Julian's basketball career is getting out of the shadow of his brother.  Justin is the older brother, and he let's Julian know it.  Several times during the interview he tells him to speak up or just talks over him, you can tell he's the older brother and Julian defers to him.  And I'm not saying that as a bad thing or a knock against Justin, I'm a big brother so I'm the same way towards my little brothers, but I don't think Julian would have had the same college career thus far playing with Justin, I think he would have deferred to him too much.

That was an enjoyable watch. Julian is so quiet and chill and we are very fortunate to have him represent SJU.
Justin is hilarious, his straight to the point responses are priceless.
