Still a good ways from getting in based on the points. Tough to see SEVEN Big East teams ahead of them when they are third in the conference standngs.

Fair enough Della but they lost a few bad ones early on when the team had serious injuries

Don't disagree. But when Rutgers is 17-7, 6-5 and SJU is 17-8, 9-3 and SJU beat them twice, it's tough to see Rutgers still sitting at 21.

Or Louisvlle at 18-7, 7-5 at 19 and SJU beat them also.

I certainly wouldn't argue UConn or ND obviously, but you would think that if the conference is so deep that the 8th place team is ranked, the 3rd place team would be in there somewhere.

The benchmark will be the next game at UConn. They have won one hundred straight games at home. How well they play in a loss will have more to do with how they are perceived than wins against many of their other opponents.
