SJU vs IONA....who wins?

It is pathetic that above poster "michelle" would have the time to go to the board of another school and attempt to flame. Pathetic. 
 
Michelle is not new to the board. Prior to the site going down she did come on and post prior. I do recall them being Iona focused however.

i'm an sju fan forever...just happenned to catch iona vs. maryland on espn (iona won by 26 )and was very impressed by the offense
-honestly...i believe johnnies have more talent...just don't have the "flow" that iona has...
probably biggest difference is that machado is a true point guard
-this year iona will be better team but we all know that give sju another year together and some more recruits and it's not even close--
 
Maybe STJ can pull it together in late Jan/Feb-- make the Ncaa's and STJ /Iona can meet in a 8 vs 9 game. 
 
 Right now, Iona Wins. Later in the year, we might have a better shot after some seasoning and the addition of Garrett and Cummings.
 
 I dont know, I think our greatest weakness (aside from depth) is size, and Iona is a small team. I think Gomez who plays minimal minutes is the only guy over 6'6-6'7 on that team. Once our defense is where it needs to be in terms of protecting the 3, it's an easy win....if we played today....its a tough win, however I still see us winning. It's all guessing though...theoretically any team can win on any given night, i think it would come down to whoever scores the most points...
