Question - can someone share the recruiting success the team has had 2015-2016 going forward...

You're welcome, but it should be noted that redmannorth is the true fan of the women's team on here. I just hop on the bandwagon for big non-conference games, and the postseason.
 
Halftime: St. John's 21, Creighton 20.

We had a 7 point lead, but let Creighton end the half on a 6-0 run.

Offensively, this has not been one for the archives in Springfield, by either team.
 
Ugly first half
Handford with 5 points and 2 fouls, Grant with 2 points and Walker with 0 points
Creighton is playing smart - daring Lewis and Simmons to shoot from outside
Too bad Udobi has had the injury problems - she has played well in limited minutes
We will only go as far as Handford and Grant can carry us
If they don't play better in the second half, I don't see how we can win this (or any) game
 
Fortunately we can be a great defensive team if we buckle down as we showed the last two nights.
Hope the girls commit themselves to 20 minutes of super D.
To answer the General we have two good guards , 1 may be very good, and a good jc forward.
The problem is clearly our sophomore class. The 4 girls were all rated between numbers 21-26 at their respective positions in the class of 2014 but of the 3 that remain they have delivered very little so far. That has to change after this season.
 
Tied at 28, heading into the fourth. That was the worst quarter yet. Tough to watch.

Creighton blew a wide open layup that would have given them the lead.
 
Tied at 28 after 3. Is this a case of 2 great defensive teams or 2 teams that can't throw the ball into the ocean ?
Ten more minutes to improve our tournament seeding don't give up now ladies.

To answer North's question: A little of both, I think, but more bad offense, IMO.

Both these teams look tired.
 
4:07 left. It's 39-33 St. John's. A couple of hard-nosed plays defensively have paid off for us, the last few minutes.
 
Lets go ladies a few more good stops and we have it. Nothing could be worth more at this time. Up 6.
 
Up by 8 with under 3 min to go. Both coaches bringing players in and out like crazy. A real chess game.
 
Up by 13 in the final minute, with two free throws coming!

I'll let redmannorth give the official final, but it's looking like a trophy will be seen in the Carnesecca Arena lobby.
 
28 years is a long time between cups of coffee.

Little Lewis 5 5 with 14 points and 8 boards unreal. What a hero.
