I see him as a good swing guy between two positions who hopefully improves in several areas and adds strength. Hard work this summer will help him immensely.

If Lee does not come here then he would be in a rotation with Jackson and maybe Lewis at the point - and might well prove to be the most capable of the three at playing the position in a traditional sense. And would be set up to be a senior PG the year after.

Lee obviously would be the starting PG if he comes, with Sanon, a proven shooter at the 2 spot. Wilcher seems suitable to swing between this two positions. I have beaten to death what he has to do imo in off season. I’m not going to offer an opinion on what the mix would be sans Lee w/o knowing who we bring on for the point if anyone.
 
There’s going to be a run on crows to eat, that more than a few posters on here will be eating next season.

Interesting to hear he thinks Jackson may backup Sellers. Man, this team is going to be losded.

I don’t think HS rankings are relevant for a player going into his 3rd year. Like most sports, they provide a baseline but are often inaccurate predictors of success. Play on the court is what matters. Wilcher hasn’t proven he is a Big East starter yet, especially at PG. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the potential with some work. His shooting form is solid, so I hope he makes the leap playing with other shooters.

The rankings lose weight with each year in college for sure, but they still retain some relevancy.

MR is suggesting Sanon is some 5 star stud because of his ranking and Wilcher is trash. I just reminded him that they were very similarly ranked.

Sanon also played for a really bad team.
 
If Ian doesn't commit and some 3 star players commit, starting will be Zuby, Bryce, Joson, Sellers and Lefteris following back up with Vincent, Luben, and Ayo.

Must bring Ian.
