would you happen to know when the event is taking place ? I would love to attend if possible, timing, border closure and COVID-19 amongst others. Shenneika Smith who will be indoctrinated     In this class called me earlier this morning to tell me she is coming to Montréal in exactly two (2) weeks to scout a tournament. It would be special to be in attendance at this great event.

Joe Depre very deserved entry; he was one of my favorite Johnnies to watch when my Dad had season tickets back in the day. Very quick and smooth.

watching Joe DePre on the floor with Johnny Warren made for a season ticket full of joy....and a lot of wins at Alumni Hall.
Their sheer hustle, on top of all that skill, would make them as formidable today as they were dominating back then.

Knight, I do remember that sobriquet for Depre but imho that belongs to the original "Jumpin Johnny Green" my first favorite Knick who was a 26 year old rookie in 1960 after  starring at Michigan State following military service. Had a couple of really good years with the Knicks in the early 60s when I started following basketball. What a leaper and rebounder he was!

So glad to see Dupree and Mark get in.  Really happy to see they finally put a Football Player (and a well deserving one) from my era (or any for that matter).

We had a discussion on here a few months ago about Mark Jackson not being in the SJU Hall of fame glad the school has made an immediate correction to fix this Great Job Mike Cragg …

Is football player Dennis Bligen in our HoF?

Mark Jackson should have been in our HoF years ago.

You are correct (and I forgot) that Dennis got in.  Todd will be the 5th player inducted.

What was the name of the SJU club football quarterback that wore white shoes, circa 1969?  I think he might have had a cup of coffee with the nfl.

JSJ pointed out that Mark's HOF timing was due to conflicts in Mark's schedule, not to the overlooking of Mark and his accomplishments.

It definitely would have happened sooner if the school had anything to do with it.

This time around Mark's schedule was clear and he could make it.
