I believe this makes Justin only the third Johnny to ever win this award, after Mark Jackson and Sir Dom (disappointed that Minlend and Postell never received the honor).
 
great news for Justin, the 1 thing we can all agree on is his defensive prowess! Congrats and well deserved!

I loved this kid and have from the first game he played. He's a swiss army knife and provides so many things for this team. He's been trashed here along with just about everything and everyone associated with this program. This is true vindication, the people that know basketball holding him over and above all defenders in the league.

Great achievement, and great new in an otherwise dark couple of weeks
 
I hope he comes back, together with one or both of Ponds/Heron to complete unfinished business. A more balanced team with some depth, height and bulk next season would be great.
