Seth Davis gave us a mention this week:

"I'm still pretty bullish on St. John's, but I can't shake the feeling that the Red Storm is one solid wing scorer away from being a really good team. Sounds like a job for the Jigsaw Man."

I agree with the above in that we need to have guys in spots where they are dangerous. Our 2 best options are Jakaar and SirDom here. SirDom's does not seem as confident in his shot this year. Jakaar likes to shoot closer to the elbow. If they can get their shot down more reliably, the floor really opens up.

Seth has wriiten a new book about Coach Wooden which will be released January 14.

As an aside, Seth's father is Lanny Davis who is a well known attorney, commentator, and political consultant.

Lanny Davis was a huge talking head defending Bill and Hillary throughout their ordeals in and out of office. He also now makes a gazillion dollars with his political consulting/lobbying firm. The government revolving door in action as always. People wonder why folks take these "low paying" government jobs, that's why.

Seth is very good at what he does and I think I would like to go to dinner with him, James Carville and Tim Russert's son Luke, ---all big time sports/college bb fans.

I thought Sir'Dom would fill that void this year, but he just hasn't been up to task. Has no confidence in his shot and his handle is rough to put in nicely.
