This is to all the tilt-proof and it takes something great to be both tilt-proof and a St. John's fan. Thank you.

Over the years there have been a few members that make this a better place by their level headed posts and responses and friendly tone. These guys are tilt-proof which is lingo that basically means that you don't get rattled and/or excel under pressure. I am envious of this quality and they make me think of Jimmy Buffett songs and Hakuna Matata even though I am sure that like all the rest of us have their own stuff to deal with, but just are quality people that don't impose it on everyone else!

There are a lot of names missing here, but I just wanted to give some extra credit and appreciation here to a Final Four:
"Chicago Days" (West)
"Paultzman" (East)
"Sherman, Sheridan and Grant" (South)
and the all-time greatest tilt-proof member "Joe" (the original) (North)

Honorable Mention to "Jack Williams" who as a younger member showed supreme class and maturity in so many instances and "mjmaherjr" who is friend and peacemaker extraordinaire.

YEET!

You are a 1 seed in the Tilt bracket.

Didnt Lawmanfan or someone do an NCAA bracket of posters years back or something like that ?

yes and it was hilarious. I went back trying to find it once and was not successful. It was incredible he wrote out detailed descriptions for why one poster advanced over another. Wish I could find it I could use a laugh

Yeah, that was a hoot.

I upset someone in the first or second round but then I had to face Paultz...I never stood a chance there.

You should have tried a zone. ;) :)

I think Guinness is the poster who's mentioned once that he was super tall. He should have just taken Paultz down low every possession.

I was sitting next to him last night. Chicago Days got a technical foul for cursing during the game last night he was so pissed :)

lol. Yeah I’m 6-foot-7. The ol’ Mark Jackson back em down, make some space, off the glass...works every time.

When it comes to Paultz, you cannot stop him, you can only hope to contain him.

That's a great post, Paul. All the members you listed -- and many others (including you) -- make it a treat to come here several (dozen) times a day.

We're all fans of the same program and even though we may see the world differently, it should be as much fun as giving your buddies the gears over a beer.

Thanks to all those who make it so...
honorable mentions go out to Beast of the East and Monte
Thanks BJR. I’ll occassionally go off the rails, but I try to regroup quickly and follow the lead of the great Panther (another honorable mention) and keep things “ in perspective” by remembering:
-these are kids we’re talking about
-this is just a game, it ain’t life or death
-to treat other posters the way you’d like to be treated, respectfully

Also shoutout to a couple of underrated posters SJU1512, Adam for all of his bracketology work this season, and weathermannnyc who I got to meet at the Princeton game briefly

Keep it 'light', wuld-ja man.
Gotta laugh.
Keeps the 'beasts' away.

Thank you. I'm far too cantankerous but overall try to keep this place positive.

We do have a great community and little by little am meeting many of you. Good men to a person.

In the end it all circles back to Paul who created this site as a labor of love 20 something years ago.

I am not sure most people do not appreciate the time and $ Paul has poured into this site.

Hey Paul, thank you.
