Don't even know if I should even do this thread since they probably don't read this board, so probably a waste of time, but then figured this is a St. John's board where we can type our views and how we feel about SJU basketball.
Alot of times I feel that us fans care way more about what's best for our sports then the BOT do. A source in an article says that Bobby Hurley will be SJUs target, I'm sure that Hurley isn't Shanley's top target. If Shanley can't do his job as president of SJU then why did he even take? Oliva or one of the BOT should have took that position since they know best.
We the fans want Pitino, get that through your thick heads, we don't want a hope and a pray, we want a sure thing.
Most of your true fans are middle to upper age range, most of the young generation doesn't care about SJU basketball, but you're just fine with it right?
Well if Rick goes to Georgetown and wins a championship in 4-5 years, and Hurley or whoever we get sucks and in 4-5 we're looking for another coach, I really hope that no one ever goes to SJU games ever again. As for me? I'm done after this season if no Rick or another HR.
