Doesn't do a thing for us but it looks like SJU will have played 19 games vs teams in the tournament. Pretty impressive.

Dan Hurley has built two winning programs from scratch. Now he's got the NCAA Tournament on his resume. Silences doubters once and for all.
Just hope it is not much LATTER.Jerry Carino @NJHoopsHaven

I am not particularly a Hurley fan but I do give credit where it's do - good for him...IMO
SJU will move up that same success latter in the near future
Although I am happy Syracuse got left out. I hope when we get better in the future, a loss from St. John's won't be considered a bad loss anymoreHoping to hear that the SYR loss to SJU was the reason they didn't make it.

I know we made the tourney twice in the last 5 years, but it really seems like so long ago. I am happy for our conference getting 6-7 teams in, but not even making the NIT is really sad. I didn't expect to make either tourney, but it still kind a bummer to watch everyone else celebrate.
I hope we find a way to win 19/20 games next year and make the NIT.

here is a a crazy stat. I think in the 25 years since I graduated SJU we have only made the NCAAA's 7 times
And this March....they'll be watching
