Agreed. We've seen some nice gear from UA but unfortunately can't get our hands on it. Soon I hope...

Under Armour has a propensity for making shirts just for the team and not general retail. And it has to do with legalities around trying to profit off phrases or marks.

Wouldn’t it behoove UA to make shirts that people wanted to buy, were legally allowed to sell, and, you know, sell them?

I was in the Soho UA store a few weeks ago, and they only had two SJU shirts. Both very generic.

The point was the legally. Making something that would only be worn by 13 guys is a lot different than selling them for profit.

Gotham shirt is Batman
Subway shirt is MTA

They will want their $

Take it from Moose. He really knows sports licensing as a professional.

So me buying my 4 shirts is not gonna cut it?
They are so very nice. :(

Understood. I'm just saying their marketing folks should come up with some cool shirt ideas that they can sell to the public. The UA partnership was very exciting at first, as the Nike merchandise seemed stale and limited. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much difference between the Nike and UA products so far.

Under Armour sells merchandise with Super Hero Symbols already.

They have a deal with both DC and Marvel

They do. They cut a deal with them directly.
Now you want to add another mark to it. SJU. More hands in the cookie jar.
