Season Ticket question

As we know there were a ton of cancellations of season ticket plans, mostly based on the required donation of the better seats (lowest priced tickets required no donation) plus expectation of a very down season.

Now that CMA and his kids have proven they can play with and beat ranked teams how may of you would co sider a mid season big east ticket plan if offered right now?

Great question Beast and I hope the marketing department is working on something as we post. If in fact we beat ranked Butler on New Year’s Eve I believe there will be a big demand for tickets and something could be done to bring back many of those who did not subscribe this season. If we loose I believe fans will be game to game. We will see.

I am a season ticket holder but was at brunch yesterday with some friends and they purchased 12 tickets to the DePaul game while we were out. A few are even considering the Butler game, so people are taking notice, hopefully the crowds start to rise.

The school needs to do a better job of marketing.

They need to get Anderson on radio -WFAN and ESPN this week. Also, need to advertise locally on TV. I am currently a season ticketholder and a packed house makes for a much more enjoyable environment. I am all for getting a plan together to bring back fans for the big east season..... maybe even provide a discount with a small deposit for a plan or season tickets next year?

They have been advertising mini plans for a while now. I think there are two options are for a certain number of BE games at MSG. In addition they also had a CA plan, but since there's only 3 games left that might not be an option.

Check Redstormsports .com.

There was a mini-plan of 5 games offered this year. Any 2 at CA, and any 3 at MSG. Your choice.

They didn't break it down into pre-selected plans, like they have in the past.

Last year they offered the redstorm pass which I bought

$175 for ten tickets. Cannot use for Villanova $17.50 to go to the garden

Or. $350 for 20 tickets. You could use for any game

There only offering now a flex plan

That makes me happy. I flew up for Thanksgiving and went to the Wagner game. It was a total dud but it was Wagner.

Im ready to get the real Carnesseca experience this time around.

Keep in mind, not only is it NYE, the student body is also on break. Should be a good crowd, but short of a true sell out.
I expect about 3,500.
3501 for betting purposes :)

So the 2 out of state student who would have attended and won't will prevent a sellout is what you are saying.

Personally I love a half filled Carnesecca. I get To stretch out and lean back. Much better than being a sardine with someone’s knees in my back

Will young people be there? I'm 48 with two kids, so going out on NYE doesn't mean squat to me these days. But in my 20s, I probably skip the game foolishly thinking I'd hook up at a party or bar. If you young guys opt out, hopefully our older guys show up and make a lot of noise.

Do you go home and shower and change, though? And you have to factor in travel distance. I think I started the festivities before 9 on NYE when I was young, but I honestly can't remember. I just remember going home alone most years and hating NYE for 364 days afterward.
