Saw Coach Braica Last Night

His St. Francis Terrier's team came to Montreal last night for a weekend of scheduled games against local universities and my older son and I had dinner with him and his team.
Glenn is a first class person who only had very nice things to say about his time at SJU. He feels the team is young but very, very talented and has a chance of making serious noise this season. Said Orlando is not a big time scorer but does everything well, rebounding, passing, D, shot-blocking and is a highly skilled big man. Was also high on Rysheed.
It was very nice to see him again and I look forward to watching his team play over the weekend.
 
Coach Braica is a GREAT guy and a very good coach. I don't know if anyone could do a better job at St. Francis.

Nothing to do with anything but just want a shout to .those running this site to say they are doing a great job and are much appreciated.

Are you sure Coach Lav wasn't under the table telling him what to say? Urgh...we really are not young anymore! We have some upper classmen and even a 25 yr old! Harrison, Greene, Pointer, are all JR's, and Branch is a veteran but not sure what he's considered.

Doesn't need Lav's to tell him to say we are young, Norm's brainwashing probably still hasn't worn off. :)
 
Redmen north did glen bring up His time with Norm ? I know Chris Casey now the Niagara coach mentioned to some folks that norm failed to heed his advice regarding shortening the rotation and other x and o issues.

Not at all. Those topics were never raised nor is there a need to. I would never ask questions pertaining to whether the former staff could have done at better job at SJU because it is improper and because my views on that topic are well known. They did the best they could under the terrible circumstances and have all moved on.
