Saturday's game may not mean much...

Saturday's game may not mean much in terms of standings or stats but MSGt would certainly serve as a showcase for coach to announce some/all of next years recruits.

Does anyone know which recruits will be at the game? Keeping my fingers crossed and just hoping.

I would like to see this years kids get a win. It's hard losing every game.

We're not losing every game. This team has done very well under the circumstances and can still win a some of these remaining games to have a decent finish. I agree with you that winning tomorrow would be a good start.

i really want to win this one. i think it would be great for the players ego to beat a big name national school (even if they are not very good this year). and this is a winnable game. im feelin a harkless highlight reel game today

You stole the post right off my keyboard. This game is definitely winnable. For their psyche and the whole National TV factor, I would love to see them not only win, but hopefully win big. Won't be able to watch so hopefully this is a happy place later.

I am hoping that some how some way they finish at .500 and become eligible for the NIT. I know it isnt a sure thing but I have a feeling this team might be selected for the NIT and it would be tremendous for them to get that experience and win the title. I recall years back when Al McGuire took Marquette to the NIT to protest being placed out west in the NCAA. They had special (blinding striped) uniforms made for the NIT and won it by beating st johns. The next year they took the NCAA if my memory serves me right
