Rutgers has a good but unpublicized NIL program. The conflict between RU athletics and academia will never go away. They have an excellent football class coming in, although the threat of losing some of those commits is very real; the freshman class in BB this year speaks for itself.

100%. SJU and the basketball team needs all the money it can get - you do sponsor's name arena and Carnesecca Court
The original plan was to name it Carnesecca Court. It was only on the night of the naming ceremony that it was announced that the board of trustees decided to name the entire arena for Looie.

Naming rights could perhaps be worded to display the sponsors name boldly but keep the CA name, such as:

The Capital One Centre
at Carnesecca Arena

Here is a question to debate …….. should StJ’s sell naming rights to Carnesecca if a company want to purchase those rights?
I don’t mind selling the naming because I think everyone will still call it Carnesecca Arena just like everyone still calls JMA the Rack (RAC). So what if fox sports will have to say ‘regional bank court’ if we sell the rights. We know what’s up.

Apparently the story is Fanatics is behind Dylan Harper's payment to go to Rutgers
And I think one of the shoe companies was somehow involved in Ace Bailey, or at least that's what someone told me. I've heard both of those kids are separate to varying degrees from the normal NIL pot.
