#12 in RPI just like Marillac promised.

Beat SH and we could be top 5. It's still relatively early, but this is big with the OOC portion essentially complete for the Big East. Just can't lose to Depaul and can't really lose at home.

Once again...kudos to those that put this awesome schedule together.

This doesn't apply to Marillac. He speaks about himself in the third person!
:cheer:

beating the hall tomorrow would be huge for our resume. Top 25 RPI win on the road

RPI wins for tourney consideration are based on where the teams end up. SHU will not end up top 25 in the RPI. Here's to hoping they stay top 50.

I was just going to ask how that RPI figure worked so thanks for the info. So now we have to root for Minn, St Mary's, Long Beach St and try to root for Syr.

Unlikely. I'd sign for them staying in the top 100. A loss at Home to us will drop them considerably.

This was an orchestrated loss so that the BE could have another team ranked in the Top 25. Clearly, St. John's was looking out for the conference yesterday. ;)

@BEandBeyond: 7 Big East teams make the cut in @ESPNLunardi's latest Bracketology. Creighton, Marquette, and DePaul on the outside looking in.

That's good to see. The BE teams will be knocking one another off. The high RPI of the conference will help during selection Sun.We will have more opportunities for quality Ws , something we didn't have last year.

Just a heads up, Jerry Palm of CBSSports.com once again has "The Jerry Palm Reader" which gives a daily snapshot of RPI. You can sign up for a daily e-mail for whatever team you'd like and each morning it gives the updated RPI and matchups that day they could help the RPI. Makes it fun to know exactly what games to watch each day. Here is a link:

The matchups part is easy to figure out.

You want whoever you played to win their game. If you played both teams, whoever you did better against. If you did equal against both teams in a game, you want the road team to win.

I understand that, but unless you're taking note of exactly each team we played and then constantly looking every day to see if they're playing, this makes it much easier and saves a lot of time.

Agree 100%. I do use this often, but if I miss a day, I can usually catch up with the ESPN Bottom Line (if I'm willing to wait long enough).
