Signing a solid Grad Big this late is a pipe dream. It's good to dream but guessing Staff has chalked this one up in the 'whatever' box.
 
Does anyone in the know have any information as to whether the staff is actively trying to fill that final spot or just content with leaving it open at this point?

Why wouldn't you fill it even with a warm body that is willing to come as long as it's for a one year left player. Never know when a couple of injuries and other issues crop up and you need guys for 5 on 5 practice. It doesn't affect schollies for recruiting plus you never know when that guy can help you in a game or two.

They’re trying to fill it but nothing definite. LJ is gone sounds like Memphis and Auburn are pushing hardest for him. Wonder how much influence Heron will have on him regarding auburn

He will have 4 years of eligibility so, yes technically he’s a soph but scholarship-wise he’s a freshman.

Dashawn Davis of OSL too I thought. You have mentioned you like the high school guards better and I agree. Competition looks legit tho.

True & yet staff has not offered yet which may be an indication they feel they can do better.
 
There are a lot of mid year transfers, having on open scholy can be helpful in that respect.
