When the walkout tryouts were held, it was mentioned that several guys would be added to fill out the roster
In fact, several "interesting" names were mentioned as possible candidates
Only 2 walk ons are currently on the roster, giving us a total of 10 players
Is this an indication that the staff realistically expects Amir, Norvel and, perhaps, Cummings to join the team in December?

My best guess from what I've heard is Garrett and Cummings will be here. Norvel will be at SJU for 2012, unless something changes I don't know about.

Also, though I can't tell if this is what you're getting at in your questions, the walk-ons don't count towards the 13 scholarship limit so there's no risk to adding additional walk ons if they think they can help in practice and are eligible to take a walk on spot. You can have 13 scholarship players plus walk ons on your roster.

And it's been mentioned in other threads that the walk on's still have to pass the NCAA clearinghouse to play.

According to Maxpreps he was the 46th best player in Georgia in 09/10. http://www.maxpreps.com/athletes/f2...sketball-winter-09-10/profile-anteh-aryee.htm

But seriously, the team has better depth at guard. Anteh will be a practice player I'd imagine.
