I saw him play in the coaches versus cancer tournament at the Garden last year and was very impressed by him. He has both perimeter and inside skills and is a good scorer and athlete. He would definitely be an asset to any team that could get him.
FYI he was one of eight small forwards from the 2011 class to receive a 96 scouting grade from the ESPN recruiting website. Three of those other eight were Dom Pointer, Mo Harkless and Jakarr Sampson. According to ESPN the four other schools recruiting him in 2011 besides Mississippi State were Louisville, Marquette, Florida State and Alabama.
