Not sure how many on here are planning on going to the Seton Hall game in Newark on Dec 29 (Big East opener) but a small group of us are planning on going and may get together for a pre-game meal. Nothing set in stone yet but we might connect at Dinosaur BBQ (it's right across the street from the arena). If anyone is thinking of going lets use this thread for a roll call. Might be nice to meet some folks from here in person. Be even better if we can reserve a space for just SJU folks. FYI I've also reached out to Alumni Relations and Athletics and they may also put something together so stay tuned.

was planning on buying 4 tix tonite on stub hub. I’ll check back here
 
Will be at the game w/ wife & daughter. Made it my final stop for our Christmas week visits to family.

Was planning to go to Dinosaur. School initially had an alumni reception without detail on their site, then saw it was removed. Hopefully they can make something happen.

RedStormNC we will definitely be doing some type of pregame reception/gathering. When I spoke with the folks at St. John's they said it was still possible that they may officially set something up but even if they don't I will be more than happy to pass along our plans once they are set and you (and anyone else going from the board) would be more than welcome to join us.
 
I have a group of 20 Family and friends going to the game, unfortunately my brother is a Seton Hall Grad so not everyone will be wearing Red. Dinosaur would not give us a reservation so we are heading to Redd's Biergarten. [URL][URL]https://www.reddsbiergarten.com/[/URL][/URL]
 
SJUNC were you able to get a reservation there? Any place with the word "Redds" works for a St. John's outing. I am going to try and see if we can just have our group go there as well.
 
We just went ahead and made a reservation as well for Redds. Hopefully others will join us there and make Redds very red. ;)

What section are you in NYC?
 
Don't know the exact section yet, will hopefully know by this weekend. I will actually be on the floor photographing but our group will definitely be there.

Dylan from ticket office said they would be getting tickets. Is that where you’re getting them from.
 
Section 3, one of the guys in our group is a ticket broker so he is handling the tickets. It's possible he is getting them from someone at the ticket office but I'm not sure.
 
So I just got my tickets on VIVID seats. Section 20. They say “Pirate Blue VIP” on them. Is that some kind of a club ? Anyone have any idea ? Thanks.

Thanks. I was going to go the Stubhub route but reached to the ticket office. Dylan got a bunch of tix.
 
what time are your reservations at Redd's?

I see there is a Devils game at 1PM...figure that ends at 3:30 and restauarants may be crowded straight through.

Well probably end up at Dinosaur, not sure.

our seats are in section 7, behind SJ bench...9 or 10 rows back.

I found this on Pirate Hospitality VIP....probably not the place to show up in SJU gear !!!
