Rivalries Using Programs All-Time Best Players

I liked Jayson Williams as a player but he was a better NBA player than college player. Definitely in good company but not top 5 in my opinion. Not sure I'd include Artest in top 5. Maybe if he'd stuck around another season and accomplished more.

Garbage! Of the players I have seen, Berry was the 2nd best player. Actually they also left off the third best player I have seen Sealy. Who came up with this list that guy that announced the game with Gottlieb?

His Providence list is dicey, too.

Take out Hadnot and Croshure, and put in Barnes and DiGrigorio.

Berry
Artest
Sealy
Mullin
Jackson

Berry played center his Junior year and Artest played the 4 is soph year.

Mel Davis played 2 years averaging about 21 pts and 16 Rebs per game. He was great.

As an old timer (class of 62) I have to feel that Tony Jackson is omitted because he was not seen by many posters.
In the 59 holiday festival final Tony played the finest game I have ever seen a SJU athlete play. He scored 33 points and grabbed 22 rebounds against a top team in what was only his ninth game.
When you consider it was a tournament final (8 team tournament) and St. Joes was a very good team it might be the greatest game ever played by a SJU athlete.

I can remember everyone on this board loved Eugene Lawrence. He was quick, great court vision and a great shooter. A prized a Norm recruit. Just joking. Glad the a Norm years are behind us.

For the players that I have personally seen play, this pretty much sums it up without question in my opinion.
