A heartfelt message from our Billy Goodwin sadly informing of the passing of Trevor Jackson who was a reserve Power Forward for us in the early eighties

Once a Johnnie always a Johnnie as we say, and on a basketball team the bond of Brotherhood never breaks.

RIP Trevor Jackson and deepest condolences to those that loved him.

I had an opportunity to meet Trevor on a few occasions when I was more connected with the program in my younger days. He was a personable young man and great representative of the University. Used primarily as a reserve behind such players as Bill Wennington, Jeff Allen etc. whenever I spoke to him he never complained, valued his position and role and absolutely loved the University.

I just heard from Alumni Hall who alerted me to this. Trevor was a great guy and class act. He worked hard both on the court and in the classroom where he was a very good student.

Just a tremendous guy with a hearty laugh who treated everyone with the utmost respect and like a good friend.

Rest In Peace Trevor.

My condolences to his family and friends and my prayers are with them.
