RIP Malik Sealy

:( He had to be my 2nd favorite St. John's player, right behind our current coach.

NS
My son was ball boy with his son for a few years
Imagine growing up never knowing your father - a man who everyone adores...

I think Louie managed to get Malik to sign over Rick Pitino and Providence...I remember being concerned about that recruiting process!

all the best

Malik Sealy was pure class. One of the universities finest alumni.

To me, as someone who never saw him play, Sealy seems to be be considered the 2nd or 3rd best player of this era. Its a damn shame what happened to him. Would have loved to have got a chance to see him then and now.

RIP Malik Sealy

One word: smooth.
And yes, all class.

KG interview. Always tear up when i watch this. rip Malik

Very touching, very sad. How ironic that two of our "legacy" players -- Malik and Sonny Dove -- had their young lives taken in freak automobile accidents. A simple twist of fate and they'd probably both be with us today ... although in some way they are.

Sometimes I wonder why bad things happen to good people. Seems like yesterday for me when Malik was a Redmen. One of the best to ever represent SJU.

First MSG game I took my sons to was vs St. Louis in NIT semis when Sealy et al won tournament as a frosh.
