Lou passed away at the age of 88. Very underrated coach. Probably best known (and often teased) for his comb over hair style but he could coach. Lou won almost 800 games and took two programs (New Mexico State and Illinois) from the crapper to the Final Four. Not many coaches can make that claim. I remember him wearing a bright orange sports jacket at home Illini games.
