The man was a legend. Honestly everytime he was in a movie it made it 10 times funnier. The inlaws is one of the funniest movies ever.

Little Miss Sunshine he was amazing

He had a small role in Grosse Point Blanke as John Cusacks reluctant therapist saves the movie

He will be sorely missed

Agreed all time favorite

Other movies which weren’t great but he I remember him in (and he while playing different type of characters, he made them his on) include Feebie and the Bean (with James Caan), Rocketeer (okay Jennifer Connelly helped draw me to that one) and Indian Summer.

Pretty funny bit, Kevin Pollack busting Arkin’s chops by impersonating him in several different situations. They became pretty good friends after doing a movie, Indian Summer, together.

Met Kevin Pollack an number of years ago on the set of the Kevin Smith film "Cop Out". It also starred Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. The villain's house in that movie was a property that I owned at the time in Ridgewood, Queens. I've since sold it. I was on the set with my daughter, then about 10 years old, and her best friend. Kevin saw us, made his way over to us, and started joking around with the girls. He had just been shot in the film, so he was riddled with fake bullet holes, which gave him a lot of humorous materiel for him to joke around about with the girls. He could not have been nicer or funnier. When he asked if we were in the movie and I explained that this was my property, he said "hey, thanks so much for letting us use your property for the film". A truly wonderful human being. Bruce Willis OTOH.....

Good story!! I am a fan of his and always got a good vibe when watching his stand up or hearing him interviewed, etc.
