I'm still not sure what is baffling about Kyle Anderson's career.

This kid was projected as a one and done superstar top 3 lottery pick.
Have you seen his #'s heading into year 2?

Who ever projected him as a top 3 lottery pick? And yes I've seen his stats. I bet you he's the only player in the country who is averaging more than 8 Rebs and 7 assists. His numbers are more than fine.

Anderson averaged 10p/9r/4a as a FR and is averaging about a triple double as a SO.

Malik Sealy averaged 13p/6r as a freshman

David Russell averaged 10p/5r

Mark Jackson averaged 5p/2a

Tom was baffled by their careers as well. But then he's baffled by a lot of things.

Curiously, how credible are those two? I have a feeling one of 'em is far from credible, while I'm wary of the other.

I think Gathers is doing what is expected with Jefferson and Ike down low. I've loved Jeffeson's game since I saw him dominate us last year. I would not be surprised if he is in the NBA a decade from now coming off the bench for a playoff team.

Anderson is somewhat shocking. I wouldn't say his career is baffling, but he was as close to a consensus one-and-done lottery pick as you are going to find outside of the Derrick Rose types. Right now, it's not clear that whether Anderson would even be drafted. That's kind of crazy.

Yeah but the UCLA campus is great.

I seem to remember most people saying he wasn't a one and done player. Let alone a lottery pick. I don't know where that is coming from.

And he has plenty of spending money.
