With all the bad news this past week on the site I finally have good news to report. My head has been reunited with a brand new redmen hat that is a close cousin of my old college days one that flew off my head into the pacific ocean never to be found again in september

The wonders of ebay even if I had to shell out $50 for it. Money well spent and more importantly the hat still had the old tag on it and has definitely not been worn. I'm going to be so protective of this bad boy I don't even know if I'm going to bring it to New Orleans for the game

You can bring it to conceal your face when you are trading beads for boobs. You don't want easily identifiable pics like that emerging online. :lol:

I've been following the hat saga since Peru. I have to say, that is one cool hat. :)

This could make the 2016-2017 St. John's highlight reel – slo-mo shot of Maher putting on his Redmen hat, waving it around, using it to shield his eyes...
 
Hat standards were different back then. Probably should check if that thing has lead paint and/or asbestos.

I'll wear it and take the health risk before I wear a red storm hat

Wait till I put up the other 2 hats from college my mom found in their house. Just ave to get them cleaned up a bit
 
Not to rain on anybody's parade, but isn't that hat a little garish with a lot going on, CAP LETTERS, two tone and all?

By the same token, after last night's shooting performance if you wore it to the game, PLEASE wear it every game..

I actually forgot it for this trip and last night I didnt wear a hat. Just St Johns tee shirt

By the way, my "Thank you" on BrookJersey Redmen's post about "with a lot going on" was not for that part but for the "after last night's shooting performance if you wore it to the game, PLEASE wear it every game."
