Was really nice to see the retro gear today. The logo at center court (even though I couldn't figure out while each baseline was a different color), and even dusting off the old Thunder costume.

But SJU will never stop being SJU. They send an email out today that I clicked within 5 minutes of receiving saying Retro gear is available for 94 hours only.


The landing page has 14 items (one has a swoosh) the rest are all BSN sports generic blanks. BSN pretty much handles all the gear for Nike, Under Armour etc for the non big schools. Just another example of amateur hour. Been that way for years and no faith it will ever change.
 
Agree there. Very generic and not worth the prices. The Nike one isn't bad.

They'd actually sell quite a few legit game jerseys for good $ even if they took orders on campus only

I give them credit for doing the court. Even if not a fan of logo, it shows that we have ability to better customize MSG for home games vs that super bland center court and baseline at most games

Was going to order the long-sleeve Nike shirt. Then I saw the "Estimated to ship 4-5 weeks after shop closes." Decided to hold off until I see if other options show up...

Very strange. Does this company create the gear to ship on demand based on how many are ordered? Found it interesting that jerseys aren't for sale. But agree with the other comment that it was impressive they were able to customize the court.

They are not pre-made and will only start producing them once they stop taking orders which leads to longer lead times and atypical length of time for delivery.
