You guys were awesome and my son's film won project of the week on Indie Wire! But now his film, Sunbelt Express, is in the running for project of the month which would get them a consultation with Tribeca Film Festival, a very big deal. Clearly they are stepping up in class considering the vote just opened this afternoon and one of the competitors, a Russian film, already had 624 votes. That's because its a finished film with 10,000 Twitter followers as is another of the competitors, while Sunbelt is just in pre-production and is just starting to build buzz. So its a major uphill battle, but we want to put as many votes up there as possible and at least beat out the two other films in the competition that are at the same stage of development as Evan's.
So, once again I'm asking every Redmen.com'er, friend, visitor, you name it, to click on
http://www.indiewire.com/article/vo...-whilewatch-sun-belt-iceland-or-closing-doors
and vote for Sunbelt Express. You can vote from each device you have, iphone, laptop, desktop and don't be shy, vote early and often, that's clearly the way this works. Frankly, I plan to make sure a vote gets cast from every desktop, laptop and smartphone in my office.
The last contest was like beating up on a couple DIII teams. But this time we're in with the big boys. Thanks for your support. My son really appreciates is. And, if you're interested there was also a nice piece on his project today in a Latina publicationhttp://latinaish.com/2012/07/30/comedy-undocumented-immigration-do-they-mix/
Cheers
