I occasionally take a look at the opposition’s forum and in the BE at least, none come close to Redmen.com for commentary, analysis and fervent support!

For instance, Butler. Crickets on their site: http://butlerhoops.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=5

Meanwhile we have 6 pages going. Granted we need this game more than them but I will say one thing for Redmen.com, we have a small army of passionate posters.

We don’t always have consensus but I think we can agree, our forum kicks ass.

A large thank you to those who make the site possible.

Well said, TX. And I second your thanks to Paul and everyone else who makes this site possible.

Posting here beats going to psycho-therapy! ;-)

I don't go to my pro team sites. I go to the jungle but this has been my goto site for probably 15 years. Best site out there ( not including porn . lol )

I recall Paul and I corresponding on the old SJU big site east board back in the late 90's.
He brainstormed this idea from it's inception all by himself.
Lots of time and money from, hands down, the best and biggest SJU fan I've ever met.
Initially met him at a b.c. game back when jarvis was on the bench.
He was living in Maine, I in Connecticut.
Been such a great run and so happy for him and this site.

Comparing us to Butler, just keep in mind that there are only 500 people who live in Indianapolis and those outside are getting the Manure ready to spread onto the cornfields.

So tell me young man, when did you first realize you hate your coach?

Which coach ? :)

It would be interesting to have a list of all of the sites in the Big East. I do not believe that Redmen.com has the market cornered on irresponsible posters, I could see the banter between the various fans getting out of hand.

Have you tried "holyland of hoops" it is a fairly new Big East site. I am not sure if this is what you meant. I see a number of the names on this site also post there. It is not team specific if that is what you are looking for.

It is a good place to interact with fans of other BE teams

First of all, the fact that you refer to me as a young man must mean you cant be talking to me! ;-)

Second, what makes you think I hate our coach?

But back on topic. Redmen.com is the only site I check every day, numerous times. :)

Yes, SJHooper is Joe3. SJHooper complained about the t'shirt issue with Dave. That happened with Joe3.

In a recent Princeton Review list, our posters were ranked the 361st best posters in the country.

I blame that on Fr Harrington

I love reading the posts on redmen.com. It often is therapy for me. I used to get called passive-aggressive a lot and I have tried my best to relax a little. Great site.
