Our long time league is going to have 1 to 2 new openings this year since a couple of owners didnt pay last year so anyone wanting to match Football Wits with the likes of Austour Lannister, LJSA Snow, SJUFAN The Hound 2 and the best dressed Coach in the league Desco The Dragon shoot me a pm. 1st to respond gets the 1st spot and if the 2nd opens then the 2nd person to respond gets it

Haven't played since the 90s, when 2 of my top 3 picks were RB's, but RB's aren't as valuable as back then, so I'll have to read up on how to pick.

Ok. waiting to hear from other owners to see if they are in the league again.

A few years ago we changed our scoring to 1 point per reception and that really hurt running backs value. And my 2 other leagues that are a lot more money still have more emphasis on running back stats so my team in this league has been stuck in a freaking time warp the last few years like my flip phone since I haven't adjusted my drafting so I have gone from excellent teams to crap

But this year I'm going Tyrion Maher on the league to outmaneuver everyone

RBs are very valuable in fantasy. There are so few decent ones, so pick them early. If league is PPR, go for good receiving RBs, such as David Johnson of Arizona. Top receivers are valuable too. QBs can be had in middle rounds, so don't draft one too early.
 
In my other league it's a shock when I don't make the championship game. But in this league I sucked really hard and it's been pissing me off for a year. :lol:

Quick question for returnees, am I now the only west coaster in the league since TRaczok and Son have left the league? I don't recall. I can do the draft early that day as I'm off from work so that's why I want to know, in case other westerners need to wait until later.

To all and sundry Draft is officially Wednesday August 30 (the other Wednesday during the week in question). Commish Maher is going to confirm the new coaches, make sure Sayjack knows, and pay for the league tonight. Hint Hint.
