Hey guys, I figured many were wondering what this new plan was, how it works, and if it's worth it. Well, basically you have 2 choices: the 10 ticket plan for $175 (excluding Nova MSG game, Holiday Fest, and early season tourney) and the 20 ticket plan for $350 (excludes Holiday Fest and early season tourney but DOES include Nova game at MSG).

I bought the 10 for $175 plan. You create an account, fill out basic info, select how many tickets you want (10 or 20), pay for them, and then you can log in to a portal where it gives you the option to redeem tickets. If you click that, you are able to select any of the eligible games and get the best seats available. I selected 3 MSG games (SHU, G'Town, PC) and 2 CA games (Loyola & Marq.). I was given all 100 level seats at MSG and section 7 level seats for the CA games.

All in all, it will save you tons of money if you're like me when I used to just hunt on stubhub on a game by game basis. I would be paying $80-100+ for single tickets to MSG games. I split the $175 with my friend so it ended up being like $84 each for FIVE games! Just figured I'd share this and I wonder if Cragg was behind this idea. I would definitely do this again. Best of all, there were no BS fees like stubhub gives you and can sometimes end up being $40 or so. I paid $175 even.

I think this is a great idea by making it affordable for many to come to a game and hopefully fill some seats. My only concern is that they haven't given me an option to move up my season tickets at CA in two years and I am pretty sure that there are lower seats available. I would be a little annoyed if someone is getting better seats at CA then me and paying half the price.

Andrew, just as an FYI, I inquired about the seatback section and was told there wasn't a single seat available. That's half the lower level right there.

The Red Storm Pass really helps save you money if you are going with a friend or even a family of 5. If you have a family of 5, you can choose 2 games (5 tickets + 5 tickets) or 5 games (2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2) if you are going with a friend. If you're a family of 5 it can easily be $400+ if you get them on stubhub for a single game. With this plan, you'd be able to get them for $87.50 for a single game. Really a massive amount saved.

Glad it helps you and others mike. We need fans like you in the arenas.

Agree.

They provide an opportunity to upgrade and I haven’t seen many seats that one would consider an upgrade. If you can move down, it’ll be in the corners and certainly not in the middle.

This is a fantastic idea and 100% has Cragg written on it because it’s too logical for our administration. Our previous plan was the “all-or-none” plan. Either you bought them all, or alll garden games etc. What does that lead to? Lots of empty seats.

The new system? Buy blocks of tickets to all of the games you really want to see and at the best seats available, for a discount. This kind of stuff will lead to a TON more seats sold to games because people get exactly the games they want and best seats available and can be mixed and matched. Long time coming because it fills the arena from the bottom up, and less empty seats because they don’t want to unload for an entire package which is lots of fans.

Essentially you can now pay $17 per ticket if you buy in bulk (for the 10 game plan) for the games you really want...and you get seats that would normally be at least $80 per game I'm sure if you bought them through stubhub or ticketmaster. It's basically buy 5 games for the price of 1. At first when I did it, I thought it was way too good to be true but then I realized it actually wasn't. We need to use this to fill the seats and get families and groups of friends to games. If I could do it again, I probably would have done the $350 one so I could get Nova in it. Split that with a friend and it's $175 to get 100 level MSG tickets for Villanova and any other 19 games you'd want. You could easily spend $175 getting 1 ticket to the Nova game plus fees on a regular site. Buy 1 get 19 free! Awesome stuff.

They’re investing in future fans and fan growth, not the unattainable all-or-none philosophy. The one where only the die-hards attend and everybody else skips because it’s too expensive.
