Certainly good tests for us. No patsies for sure. Time to start finding a bit of an edge at both ends. We know we can block shots better than any team in the country. We lead the nation last year and again are doing so this year. We need Jordan to establish himself as the point guard on this team. If Branch is going to take a lead, he's going to have to at least look to hit some outside shots. We can't be playing with a point guard that can't create offense by not only passing, but penetrating as well as being a threat to shoot.
Defense is all learned behavior and the easiest thing to fix, if the players really commit to it. We can't be coming out of the gates slowly like we have. Need to establish early and look at this stretch of 3 games ahead as a big key to our season.

These next four games certainly will tell us much about this team. The thinking on this site prior to the season was all wins heading into the Syracuse game,
with the possible exception on Wisconsin, However with the recent play the mood has changed and it's more like hoping for wins.

Certainly hoping for wins. No doubt they are winnable games, but a team like PSU is showing better than on paper when the schedule was made. In addition, we were hoping to split Wisconsin and Cuse, but even that could prove tough as both Wisconsin and Cuse legit top 10 teams right now. I'll stick to hoping for winning tomorrow's game for now and go from there. More importantly, I'm waiting to see us improve and play a good game for a change. Bucknell was the closest thing to that, but we need a lot better.
