Rawle Alkins

Seems we have increased interest from Rawle...a couple of guys from 247sports have predicted Rawle picking SJU as his college destination including the #1 predictor on that site he says he make this pick VIA intel he has. Adding Rawle would be a tremendous step in the right direction and put us on a quick turn around from the rebuilding phase.

I have also read that Thon Maker is interested to see where Rawle goes...possible team up in NYC would be very nice for this program.

Both are long shots. Two scholarships would have to be made available for that to happen assuming Freudenberg signs. We need two kids to look to play at a level more to their skill sets. I would not mind losing Jones, Williams or Ellison.

I think there's some sort of legitimate shot with Rawle. Thon is a longshot no doubt. But if the insiders think Rawle to SJU is going to happen then we should think its possible.

Steve Meyer of 247sports.com said that he has intel that makes him think that Rawle will come to St. Johns, so yes I am most likely getting my hopes up to be let down in the end but, we have a shot with Rawle, and a good one at that. IMO

If both of these guys want to come, believe me they will find spots for them.
Christian Jones will be the first to exit. As long as he took care of business in the classroom, he should be a 5th year transfer after redshirting a year. He's not a big east player. Too lazy, and just reaches on defense. And he can't even dribble the ball. He would be a quality player on a division 3 team.

Ellison will be fine. He's coming off a major injury last year, and even got hurt again this year. Give him some time. Not every player steps in as a freshman and produces.
He's not gonna see more then 5-10 minutes next year anyway with the talent coming in.

Believe if anyone is asked to leave it would be Jones and he could be a graduate transfer and not have to sit a year too. Not to sure who would leave the program after Jones.

The staff would not sign Freudenberg if both Maker and Alkins wanted in.

dont be too sure about that RF is one of the best players in Europe they will fit him in somehow trust me esp since Matt A goes to germany for him to play here

Would be an excellent edition in terms of balance as well. A nice physical slasher/scorer mentality to complement our excellent shooters for next season. If he develops a legitimate J/3 pointer he will be a great addition to the NBA.
