I saw on redstormsports.com that Vin Parisi was the color analyst next to John Minko, for today’s game; not Tim O’Toole.

I googled Tim’s name and on Jan. 3, 2013 he was named Syracuse’s Dir. of BB Operations. Congrats to him, sounds like a good job for him.

Anyone know the new analyst’s background?

Don’t we have any SJU-affiliated ex-sports guy for that role?

And for tonight’s game versus ND we have mad man Brandon Tierney doing the color, great job, I really like him and even though he went to Marist, he is St. John’s all the way.

It sounds like BT is our radio color guy again, hooray!
 
bob knight doesnt stop talking, but I can listen to him all night. The amount of basketball he knows is just amazing, about ever defense you face and even how to play correct D on the inbounds.

Yes, BT is back
He hosts the morning show on the new CBS Sports Radio Network that started the first week of January
He hosts with Tiki Barber and someone else
The midday show, hosted by John Feinstein, is great
You can listen on-line by googling their website
BT is alo hosting the weekly Red Storm Report on SNY Friday afternoons at 4:30 PM

Absolutely agree. Plus there's no bs, he doesn't call half the players on the court "one of the best in the country", and isn't afraid to point out mistakes.
He's not perfect but ill take him on our games any day.
